Galleria Colonna, Rome, Italy
The Colonna Gallery is a magnificent palace and art gallery in the heart of Rome. Built in the 17th century, it is part of the palace complex of the Colonna family, one of the most influential and ancient aristocratic families in Italy.
The gallery displays masterpieces of Italian painting and sculpture, including works by such masters as Guercino, Bril and Guido Reni. Of particular note is the Hall of Mirrors, which is often compared to the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles.
