Pailón del Diablo Waterfall, Tungurahua, Ecuador
The Pailon del Diablo waterfall, or "Devil's Cauldron", is one of the most powerful waterfalls in Ecuador, about 80 meters high. Up to 500 liters of water pass through it every second, creating a deafening noise and an impressive sight. The waterfall is located near the town of Baños and is surrounded by tropical forests. Visitors can walk across suspension bridges and down staircases to experience the power of the falls up close.
